When I had enrolled I was told that I could advance from that school to Nippon University's College of Engineering, but I later discovered that even if! graduated from my present school I would not qualify to advance to another school.

The dream of escaping from Japan, which had once seemed so hopeless, 4O-mGASHIDE was now becoming reality. The newspaper item in the Jiji Shinpo had been written by Shuzo Ishida, a reporter assigned to the Bureau of Public Safety. Ishida was a graduate of Tokyo Colonial Trade Language School, a sister school of Hozen Technical School.
